Software Releases IPG Version 4.0: New Independent Platform Gateway the
Ultimate PLM Networking System

of the Independent Platform Gateway (IPG) Version 4.0. This new release of
Federation's software marks the latest development in the company's signature
software, the keystone in end-to-end PLM system product DNA sharing.

resources.
Enhanced Monitoring and Recovery:
IPG Transaction Manager monitors the end-to-end federation process, offers
direct access to local and remote error logs and allows for a single-click
recovery.
Reliable Error Handling: Improved
email notification, messages and a more reliable recovery capability.
Improved Usability: New version
fulfills over 500 enhancement requests from users.
Expanded Platform Support: Now with
support for Windows 2003 along with updated versions of Java and Tomcat.
Quicker Installation Process:
Streamlined by bundling prerequisites and adding configuration wizards that
guide the administrator through the process.
Alternative Transport Capability:
Media Transport allows federation of data using CDs and DVDs for very large
volumes of data or when a physical connection is not available.
